Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast stations with food items, beverages, and condiments according to safety standards
- Serve guests with friendly, prompt, and professional in-person customer service, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
- Handle food safely during processing, storage, and presentation while following proper food handling protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, or portioning ingredients as needed for breakfast offerings
- Follow food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations and prevent contamination
- Support cleaning routines including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste properly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred;
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and handling practices in a restaurant environment
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift weight safely during food handling or cleaning tasks in accordance with workplace standards
- Culinary experience or knowledge of the food industry is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
