Hotel Versey, a boutique Hilton-affiliated hotel located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure smooth front desk operations. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, create room reservations and provide information and assistance as needed for special requests while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and issues to coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive work environment and enhance client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with hotel and Hilton brand standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service are essential for success in this role.
- Prior customer service or hotel front desk experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Hilton's OnQ system is a plus.
