What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor position at Hotel Strata?
The Hotel Strata is located 1 mile south of downtown Mountain View and conveniently located near Hwy 237 and Hwy 85 on El Camino Real. Our team is looking for a full-time night auditor to join our team. Hotel Strata is a top-rated boutique hotel where our team takes pride in delivering genuine Strata service, from a distance.
Hours:
Sunday through Thursday nightshift from 11pm to 7 am.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome all guests with a smile, check-in and direct guests at arrival. Inform guests of hotel's facilities at time of registration.
- Check in and Check out guests efficiently
- Review the items to do for the shift
- Print reports
- Balance the paperwork and complete night audit on system
- Handle cashier duties
- Create housekeeping daily sheets
- Assign rooms to arrivals for the following day while looking at preferences/notes on reservations
- Must be proficient on computers
- Handling phone call in a professional manner and transfer call
- Complete shift check list
- Watch for safety hazards and report to management
- Prepare breakfast for morning breakfast
- Complete other assignments and perform other duties as directed by management.
- Must be able to follow safety protocols that the management will train the staff member to follow
- Maintain Cleanliness of front desk and office while disinfecting to keep a safe environment for other staff and guests.

Hotel experience is preferred.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Applicant must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and communicating with fellow associates.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Applicant must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Windows. Hotel PMS system is very user friendly and management will train the applicant.
