Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our property. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs to provide a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and appliances
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
Maintain the hotel’s exterior, including grounds, parking areas, and lighting
Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
Keep accurate records of maintenance work and repairs
Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
Proven experience in general maintenance (hospitality experience a plus)
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
