Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Support banquet service as needed, ensuring smooth operations during events.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as micros or aloha.
- Previous experience in banquet service or catering is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
