Sales Coordinator

We are looking for a Coordinator with great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. As our Sales/Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for soliciting, securing, coordinating and responding to inquiries regarding the purchase of food and beverage, and use of event facilities for group catered events in the hotel.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity is a self-starter, who can learn quickly, maintain focus and work well collaboratively while being responsible for their own results in an autonomous environment.

In this role, you will be expected to:
 

• Professionally and efficiently handle incoming phone calls, emails and other inquiries
• Assist the Director of Sales with correspondence, tasks, and projects as needed
• Managing event logistics and operations
• Liaise with clients, vendors and stakeholders during the event planning process to understand and identify the requirements for each event
• Generate Banquet Event Orders
• Manages group room blocks
• Effectively coordinate communication between clients and hotel operating departments
• Manage all event set-up, tear down and follow-up processes
• Support the Sales Team by coordinating, tracking and vetting sales inquiries while distributing leads to the proper sales channels
• Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the hotel and client standards
• Delivers excellent customer service throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event)
• Assist team members to achieve highest levels of quality and productivity
• Be adaptive and strike a good balance between speed and efficiency
• Perform other duties required by Management
• Full-Time Position Available

• 1-2 years of experience in event management or related professional area
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to perform in a high-energy high-expectation environment
