Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, energetic Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our restaurant team and deliver exceptional guest service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment while ensuring timely and accurate food and beverage service.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain dining room cleanliness throughout service
- Deliver food from kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently
- Support servers and bartenders with daily operations
- Set up and maintain buffet and bar areas, including ice, glassware, and supplies
- Stock and replenish glassware, silverware, beverages, and service items
- Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and assist with basic mise en place
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance concerns
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
- Assist as needed with side work and additional assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Passion for hospitality and guest service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must possess a valid California Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification, or be willing and able to obtain both upon hire
