Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated PM Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hotel Mountain Brook. The ideal candidate should have a natural passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be expected to provide exceptional guest service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a PM shift. Applicants must be able to work between the hours of 2pm - 9pm.
Duties
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and assist them with genuine care.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Google Suite applications.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while handling multiple responsibilities.
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with appropriate phone etiquette.
- Efficiently make reservations and take cancellations for the inn.
- Utilize Google Suite for various administrative tasks.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Ensure the lobby area is clean and presentable at all times.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of the inn
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
