What you will be doing:
Greet and serve the guests according to standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Display knowledge of basic food preparation and service.
- Serve meals.
- Set or pre-set tables in banquet room as assigned.
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Clear tables at conclusion of meal function.
- Complete all necessary side work to include filling and stocking salt/pepper shakers, separating linen, wiping kitchen counters.
- Display knowledge of basic bar terminology and wine service.
- Attend required meetings.
- Prepare, deliver and refresh coffee stations as assigned.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training.
What is required:
Food handler Certification
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
