Job Description:
As the Hotel Night Audit, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's overnight operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and being the lead on night staff. Your role is crucial in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth functioning of the hotel during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:

Night Operations:
- Oversee all hotel operations during the overnight shift.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for late arrivals and early departures.
- Monitor the lobby and public areas to maintain cleanliness and order.
- Guest Services:
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and guest satisfaction throughout the night.
- Assist guests with special requests and provide information about the hotel and local area.
- Safety and Security:
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the hotel property during the night.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with local authorities if necessary.
- Administrative Duties:
- Complete nightly reports and documentation, including daily financial reconciliation.
- Manage cash handling and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare and distribute shift handover reports for the morning staff.
- Operational Support:
- Coordinate with management to address any urgent repairs or issues.
- Ensure that housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and rooms are ready for new arrivals.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a boutique or luxury hotel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and poise.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible with working hours, specifically overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, not required.
- 2 years of experience working overnight preferred
Work conditions:
- Must work on-site on property.
- Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
- Physical effort/lifting, medium - up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, and/or be on-call as a regular part of the job.
The hourly wage ranges the employer reasonable expects to pay for the position:
- $24-$25 per hour, depending on experience
