What You'll Do
As a Front Desk Agent, you'll create welcoming, personalized experiences while serving as a knowledgeable resource for guests throughout their stay. You'll balance exceptional hospitality with operational excellence, ensuring every interaction is warm, efficient, and memorable.
You'll:
- Welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism from arrival through departure.
- Complete check-in, check-out, room assignments, key issuance, and guest registration accurately and efficiently.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful recommendations about hotel amenities, dining, local attractions, transportation, and experiences.
- Answer questions, process reservations and booking requests, and communicate hotel services with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Listen carefully to guest concerns, resolve issues with empathy and sound judgment, and partner with leadership when additional support is needed.
- Accurately process payments, explain guest folios, post charges, and handle Front Office transactions with attention to detail.
- Maintain clear communication with Housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure rooms, guest requests, and operational priorities are coordinated seamlessly.
- Keep accurate records, shift notes, and guest information while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Support fellow Front Office colleagues during busy arrival and departure periods and assist with additional guest service needs when business demands require.
- Follow all company policies related to guest privacy, safety, security, cash handling, and hotel operating procedures.
