Duties

• Prepare banquet rooms by arranging tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and decorations according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests during events, ensuring high-quality guest service at all times.
• Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event to uphold food safety standards.
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and setup tasks to support catering operations and ensure smooth event flow.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, addressing their needs and providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate event setup, service delivery, and breakdown for seamless execution.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred; experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service in fast-paced settings.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper food service techniques.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Experience with restaurant or hotel service environments is advantageous; culinary or coffee experience is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork and guest satisfaction.
