Key Responsibilities
- Monitor food quality, freshness, portion levels, and temperature throughout service.
- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies promptly to ensure items remain available and presentable.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and respond promptly to questions or requests.
- Keep the breakfast area, dining space, counters, equipment, and seating areas clean and sanitized during and after service.
- Clear tables, remove used dishes, and dispose of waste in a timely manner.
- Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage.
- Track inventory needs and notify management when supplies are low or equipment issues arise.
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service and store items properly for the next shift.
- Support other departments as needed to help maintain a positive overall guest experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members across departments.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move safely in a kitchen or buffet environment.
- Ability to work in warm or fast-moving service areas and maintain attention to cleanliness and safety.
