We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic, high end Bartender to join our dynamic team at the brand new Hotel Indigo Troy. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Micros POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for banquets and catering events.
- Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation to enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during peak hours in nightclub or fine dining settings.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using POS systems such as Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.
