Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. This role requires a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, along with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Operate Silverware POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and tracking usage to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets and catering events.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Stay informed about current trends in cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits to enhance guest experiences.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or Hotel setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
• Experience in retail math is a plus, as well as knowledge of brewing techniques for craft beverages.
