Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Hotel Sales Manager at Hotel Indigo Naperville Riverwalk, located in Naperville, IL. The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the hotel’s revenue by developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying potential business opportunities, and securing bookings for rooms and events. Day-to-day tasks include creating sales strategies, reaching out to prospective clients, delivering customized service to meet guest and organizational expectations, and collaborating closely with the events team to ensure client satisfaction. The role involves contributing to the hotel’s marketing efforts and maintaining a strong presence within the local business community.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with clients and address their needs
- Proven Sales and Sales Management experience, including the ability to meet revenue targets and develop business opportunities
- Marketing knowledge to contribute to promotional efforts and expand the hotel’s client base
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage client relationships and coordinate with internal teams
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales performance and identify growth opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the hospitality or events industry is highly desirable
