As our Laundry Attendant, you're the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps Hotel Indigo Downtown Baton Rouge running smoothly. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Make linens shine: Sort, pre-treat, wash, dry and fold linens, towels and textiles to brand standards

• Run the machines: Operate commercial washers and dryers safely, and keep an eye on wash formulas, chemicals and machine performance

• Be the quality check: Inspect every item and pull anything that isn't guest-ready

• Keep things stocked: Fill housekeeping closets and carts, track linen counts, and flag shortages before they become problems

• Own your space: Keep the laundry room clean, organized and safe, from lint traps to supply shelves

• Team up: Work hand-in-hand with Housekeeping, Housemen and the Front Desk, and jump in when guests need something extra

WHAT YOU BRING

• A sharp eye for detail and pride in clean, quality work

• Energy to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role

• Dependability, professionalism and discretion

• Good communication and time management, solo or with the team

• Availability for varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays

• Bonus points: Experience in laundry, housekeeping or cleaning, or with commercial laundry equipment and wash chemicals

GOOD TO KNOW

This is an active job. You'll be on your feet, bending, reaching and lifting throughout your shift, including items up to 50 lbs (with help for anything heavier). The laundry room is warm and humid, and you'll use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals. Overtime may be available during busy seasons and special events.
