Banquet Server Overview:
Activities of the banquet server is to set the tables per the banquet event order (BEO). During a business meeting you would be asked to refresh waters, coffee, or light snacks. While a social event is going on the server will serve food and beverages or refreshing the buffet to accommodate the guests. See to the comfort of guests by answering questions, taking orders and relay important special orders and allergies to the kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting each guest as the enter the venue to assist with finding their seat/place.
Assist in the preparation and the end of the banquet event.
Banquet service experience is preferred but not required we will train the right person.
Ability to read and understand the Banquet Event Order.
Support other staff members.
Respond to the guest in a professional and timely manner.
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements:
