Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to meet high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning cloths to ensure floors and surfaces are spotless.
• Safely handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols.
• Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and polishing to maintain a pristine environment.
• Assist with custodial tasks in public areas, hallways, and other hotel spaces to uphold sanitation standards.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring guest safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and equipment operation is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and hospitality industry standards is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
