Job Summary
The Banquet Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner. Work well with co-workers as part of a team. Read and understand Banquet Event Orders and carry out the instructions given on the Banquet Event Orders.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required * One year minimum of customer service experience preferably within the Food & Beverage industry. * Excellent written communication and presentation skills. * Highly motivated and flexible, possessing the ability to take initiative. * Flexible schedule, able to work mornings, nights, holidays and weekends * Experience in a luxury world-class hotel or equivalent

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meal accompaniments to banquet attendees.
- Perform side work.
- Open & pour bottled wine for guests along with other table beverages.
- Knowledge of current menu being served and ability to describe ingredients.
- Take note of special guest requests and/or allergies and act accordingly.
- Bus and set tables/stations, as needed.
- Keep various stations replenished and clean (i.e., deli, dessert, coffee, espresso)
- Help direct guests and answer questions about facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have food and wine knowledge for pairing suggestions.
- Communicate with support crew and management.
