Housekeeper: Room Attendant
Job Summary
Join a fantastic team of housekeepers in a well-run housekeeping department. We value and appreciate our employees and the housekeeper's are one of the most important departments in our 66 room luxury hotel. Full and part-time available, 9am start time for shifts, MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS with only a few exceptions.
The room attendant is responsible for cleaning all guest rooms and bathrooms according to the property’s standards.
Qualifications
· High school graduate or equivalent desired
· Must be able to speak, read and write the primary language(s) used in the workplace
· Must be able to understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on a regular basis
· Must be able to push/pull housekeeping carts and equipment
· Must be able to stand, walk, sit and perform other physical activities required for several house at a time.
· Previous hotel experience preferred
Responsibilities
· Enters and prepares room for cleaning
· Makes the bed. Removes soiled linens if necessary
· Dusts the room and furniture
· Replenishes guest room and bath supplies
· Cleans the bathroom
· Cleans the closet
· Vacuums the carpet
· Checks and secures the room'
