As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms

and responding to guest requests in the hotel\'s continuing effort to

deliver exceptional service. A Room Attendant is to maintain a high

level of cleanliness in guest rooms and to replenish guest amenities

according to standards. All assigned guest rooms must be cleaned in

allotted time period specified by the supervisor. Specifically, you

would be responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Bathrooms - Ensure that all bathrooms are completely cleaned and
  
  

sanitized per hotel standards and utilizing hotel approved chemicals

and supplies.

• Bed Standard - All bedding is pulled back (stay over) or stripped
  
  

(check out) and made tight, neat and to hotel standards.

• General Room Responsible to empty all trash, wipe down all surfaces,
  
  

reset all furniture, clean and wipe refrigerators, set all

amenities, ensure all placement standards are met (hangers,

curtains, pillows, TV supplies, nightstand supplies, etc.) and set

electronic thermostat.

• Notify your supervisor of any maintenance issues in guest rooms.
• Bring all lost and found items to housekeeping office with room
  
  

number and date on them. If it is something valuable, it needs to be

given directly to a housekeeping supervisor to ensure it is locked

up immediately.

**Qualification Standards:**

• Previous housekeeping experience is an added plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimal
  
  

supervision.

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and
  
  

courteous at all times.

• Able to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
• Incredibly friendly, customer centric and loves to smile
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time during shift
• \$16 an hour\
• The shift we are filling is: Saturday to Wednesday 8AM-4:30PM
