Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management to ensure swift resolution.
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the property to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and use of janitorial equipment.
- Experience with hospitality standards and guest service is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
