In this role, you will help create memorable guest experiences by delivering attentive, efficient, and high-quality banquet service during events of varying sizes and styles. Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations.
- Provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service during banquets, receptions, meetings, and special events.
- Communicate effectively with event coordinators, supervisors, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event space before, during, and after service.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
- Clear tables, reset rooms, and assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines as applicable.
- Support a positive team environment and contribute to the overall success of each event.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality service preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and remain active for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail and a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards is a plus.
