We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Laundry Attendant to support the housekeeping team at Hotel 1000 Seattle. This full-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in behind-the-scenes operations, understands the importance of cleanliness and presentation, and helps ensure a seamless guest experience through high-quality linen care.

The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and safety-conscious, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

The Nitty Gritty

• 1 year of hotel housekeeping, laundry, or related experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning, laundry techniques, and chemical applications a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

The Brass Tacks

• Launder, alter, and repair linens, towels, and other items in accordance with established standards
• Maintain linen and towel par levels to support hotel operations
• Remove damaged or stained linen from circulation; repair when possible and report items beyond repair
• Sort and prepare soiled hotel linen and laundry for pickup by contracted services; receive and process deliveries
• Maintain accurate and complete records of laundry services
• Follow all safety procedures; report unsafe conditions and properly use equipment and chemicals
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Support housekeeping team members as needed to ensure smooth operations
