ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Workforce Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and manage fixed driver schedules, lot assignments, and route assignments to ensure transparency, consistency, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Coordinate driver assignments and monitor real-time coverage to maintain service reliability across lots and contracts.
- Review and process driver time-off requests, ensuring coverage is maintained while balancing fairness with operational needs.
- Maintain an accurate roster of driver assignments and distribute schedules in a timely manner.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate schedule changes, operational updates, and route adjustments to drivers, supervisors, dispatch, and leadership.
- Coordinate with the Safety Team & Operations Team to assign new hires to appropriate lots following training and onboarding.
- Collaborate with operations staff to ensure smooth daily execution of services.
Operational Efficiency
- Use scheduling software and performance data to optimize driver utilization, route planning, and resource allocation.
- Monitor transportation data, service metrics, and driver on-duty/off-duty hours to ensure safe scheduling and compliance with Hours-of-Service (HOS) regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that improve efficiency and service quality.
- Respond quickly to scheduling conflicts, staffing gaps, and service disruptions with effective adjustments.
- Report and help resolve timecard discrepancies and attendance issues.
Operational Oversight & Reporting
- Assist with oversight of daily driver operations to ensure contract compliance and service quality.
- Prepare reports and summaries on staffing, performance, and key operational indicators.
