ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Although additional duties and related tasks may be assigned, the essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Perform repairs on body panels, bumpers, window frames, and door frames
- Fabricate discontinued or hard-to-find body parts, including trim components
- Install and replace windows, windshields, and doors
- Conduct paint preparation, color matching, and finishing
- Ensure proper body panel alignment and secure installation
- Carry out fiberglass repairs and refinishing
- Utilize welding techniques when necessary for structural repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed and materials used
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in automotive body repair and refinishing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Experience with paint matching and application techniques preferred
- Knowledge of body panel alignment and installation
- Familiarity with fiberglass repair and fabrication
- Welding experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain repair documentation
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by the Facilities Manager regarding positional operating procedures.
