Join our dynamic team as a Snack Bar, Skate Room, & Floor Guard Team Member! In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing for parties, taking orders & cooking food, handing out skate rentals, fixing & cleaning skates and maintaining a safe, clean environment on the floor and throughtout the entire building. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to combine food service expertise with customer engagement, all while supporting the fun and energetic atmosphere of our venue. Paid positions are available, and your enthusiasm will be key to creating memorable moments for our guests!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of foods and beverages efficiently and safely, adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate POS system for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and processing customer orders accurately.
- Assist guests with skate room rentals, floor supervision, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout their visit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitizing food prep areas, cleaning equipment, and tidying common areas regularly.
- Upsell menu items and retail products to enhance guest experience while increasing sales revenue.
- Monitor the skate floor for safety hazards, enforce rules, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a fun yet secure environment.
- Support kitchen operations by operating kitchen equipment safely, assisting with food preparation when needed, and managing food handling procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Ability to skate is required for floor guarding.
- Familiarity with POS systems enhances efficiency in sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly during busy hours.
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or cash register operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards ensures a safe environment for all guests.
- Prior experience working in a food industry setting or restaurant environment will help you excel in this energetic role.
