HOT stands for High Octane Training , and that’s exactly what we deliver. We are a volleyball club dedicated to building not only skilled athletes but strong, confident individuals.
We’re expanding our coaching staff for the upcoming club season and are looking for passionate Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for our Regional and Elite club teams.
Your Role :
We’re looking for dedicated and energetic coaches to lead/support teams in either our Regional program (1-day local tournaments) or our Elite program (multi-day travel tournaments). All teams practice twice a week and compete 1–2 times per month . If you’re driven to teach volleyball, inspire personal growth, and thrive in a team-first environment, we want to hear from you.
Head Coach Responsibilities
- Lead 2 practices per week with structured, purposeful planning
- Coach 1-2 tournaments per month (Regional or Elite, based on team)
- Build team systems, rotations, and game plans
- Communicate consistently with players, parents, and club leadership
- Supervise and collaborate with the Assistant Coach
- Set and reinforce team expectations for effort, respect, and accountability
- Attend coaching meetings and training sessions
Assistant Coach Responsibilities
- Support the Head Coach during practices and tournaments
- Provide feedback, run drills, and assist in game execution
- Reinforce team culture and developmental goals
- Assist with team logistics and player check-ins
- Be flexible and available to fill in as needed
- Attend coaching meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
- Prior volleyball coaching or playing experience (club, school, or collegiate level).
- Strong technical knowledge of volleyball (positions, strategy, rotations)
- Passion for working with youth athletes.
- Availability for weekday evening practices and weekend tournaments
- Complete the required GEVA certifications.
Bonus If You...
- Own a car and can travel to tournaments
- Have CPR/First Aid certification
- Have experience coaching different age/skill levels
