Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pool & Spa Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and cleaning of pools and spas to ensure they are safe and enjoyable for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with service technician duties, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on pools and spas, including water testing and chemical balancing.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of pool surfaces, filters, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues related to pumps, heaters, and filtration systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used during each visit.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and safety protocols related to pool and spa maintenance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various pool systems.
- Experience in equipment repair, particularly related to pool machinery.
- Proficient in pool maintenance techniques including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks.
- Previous experience as a service technician is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
