Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations during food handling and serving
- Assist with bar setup, restocking supplies, and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food and beverage service during banquets or catering events
- Use excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus for cash handling accuracy
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and handle diverse clientele gracefully
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using excellent time management techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in hospitality environments like nightclubs, banquet settings, or catering events is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for accurate cashiering, sales tracking, and retail math calculations
