## **The Role: Entry Level Irrigation Technician**

### **What You'll Do (We'll Teach You!):**
- **Learn to diagnose and repair** irrigation system components under expert guidance
- **Assist experienced technicians** with sprinkler installations and repairs
- **Support maintenance** of residential and commercial irrigation systems
- **Help troubleshoot** basic irrigation issues and learn advanced techniques
- **Learn to use** hand tools and power tools for irrigation work
- **Assist with trenching** and basic irrigation layout installation
- **Provide excellent customer service** while learning the trade
- **Maintain tools and equipment** in top working condition
- **Keep accurate records** of work completed and materials used
- **Learn water conservation** practices and efficient irrigation techniques

### **Your Learning Path:**
- **Week 1-3:** Shadow experienced technicians, learn basic repairs, assist with repairs, and digging
- **Week 4-6:** Handle simple repairs independently, learn system diagnostics
- **Week 7-12:** Advance to complex repairs, begin installation work
- **Year 1 :** Lead technician track for high performers

### **Work Environment:**
- **Valid driver's license required** for travel between job sites
- **Full-time position** with opportunities for overtime
- **Outdoor work** in Arizona's diverse climate conditions
- **Physical demands** include standing, bending, digging, lifting up to 50 lbs
- **Team-based learning** with supportive mentorship

- **Valid driver's license** with max 1 ticket in the last 3 years driving record
- **High school diploma or equivalent**
- **Willingness to learn** and take direction from experienced technicians
- **Physical ability** to perform outdoor manual labor
- **Basic math skills** for measurements and calculations
- **Good communication skills** for interacting with customers
