Job Overview
TUYA Technologies/Hotshotfinalmile is hiring reliable independent delivery contractors for a new residential delivery operation in the Detroit area.
Drivers will use their own personal vehicles to deliver small packages and consumer goods to homes throughout Detroit and the surrounding suburbs. Routes will be assigned through our delivery platform, and drivers will be responsible for completing each stop accurately, professionally, and on time.

Responsibilities
- Pick up assigned packages from our Madison Heights-area facility
- Complete residential deliveries along an assigned route
- Use a mobile delivery app for navigation and stop management
- Scan and verify packages at each delivery
- Capture required proof of delivery, including photos, signatures, or recipient information
- Follow all delivery instructions and customer-service standards
- Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, address issues, or failed deliveries
- Return any undelivered packages to the designated facility
- Protect all packages from damage, loss, or theft
Contractor Requirements
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Current vehicle registration
- Active automobile insurance
- Smartphone with dependable cellular service
- Ability to pass a background check
- Clean and professional appearance
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to safely lift and carry packages
- Must be dependable and available Monday through Friday
- Previous delivery, courier, rideshare, or logistics experience is required
Compensation
Independent contractors are paid $9 for each successfully completed delivery. We are doing 4-6 deliveries an hour.
Final daily earnings will depend on route volume, number of completed deliveries, and individual performance. Additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview and onboarding process.
