Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations and repairs
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or system malfunctions and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience as a residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for precise installations
- Capable of operating ohmmeters for testing circuits and troubleshooting electrical issues effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must like residential service and repair

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
