Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in both fine dining settings and lively nightclubs
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environments
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
- Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or casual food service environments is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving techniques, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, and kitchen support roles
