Role Description The Food Truck Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for driving and operating the food truck, safely transporting it to scheduled locations and events, and setting up and closing down the truck each day. Daily tasks include preparing and serving pretzels, handling cash and electronic payments, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing friendly, efficient customer service. The operator will also assist with loading and unloading supplies, restocking inventory, and performing basic truck and equipment checks. Scheduling may include weekends, evenings, and special events.
Qualifications
- Commercial driving skills, and a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as unloading inventory and setting up equipment.
- Experience in food service or hospitality, with basic food safety and sanitation knowledge.
- Strong customer service skills, cash handling accuracy, and clear communication abilities.
- Reliability in punctuality and attendance, with flexibility to work varied shifts and events.
