HostGPO is the first buying (or group purchasing organization "GPO") for the short-term rental industry. Over the past five years, we have acquired thousands of members who collectively manage hundreds of thousands of vacation rental units across the United States and Canada — from AirBNBs to boutique hotels. Our members get access to our best-in-industry discounts on everything they need to furnish and stock their units (from furniture and mattresses to linens and toiletries).

Through our collective buying power, hosts with as few as three units and companies with hundreds of units alike have the potential to save money, streamline their procurement processes, and provide better guest experiences. While based in Los Angeles, we are hiring remotely (within the US) for this role.


POSITION SUMMARY:

We're looking for a systems-minded marketer who enjoys building the infrastructure that powers growth. This person will own and optimize our HubSpot instance, build scalable workflows, ensure clean and reliable data, and turn analytics into actionable insights that improve acquisition, retention, and revenue.

We're also looking for someone who is genuinely excited about AI-powered operations — not just using AI tools, but building agentic systems that automate and scale marketing workflows. Experience with Claude Cowork (Anthropic's desktop automation tool) is a strong signal that you know how to put AI to work in a real operational context.

Beyond execution, we're looking for someone who can proactively identify opportunities within our funnel and recommend improvements that drive measurable impact.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

HubSpot & Marketing Automation

  • Build and optimize workflows across lifecycle stages.
  • Manage segmentation, automation, and campaign execution inside HubSpot.
  • Maintain clean properties, consistent data structure, and scalable CRM processes.
  • Help launch and track campaigns effectively.

AI - Powered Operations & Agentic Systems

  • Design and deploy agentic workflows that automate repetitive marketing tasks — from lead enrichment to reporting — using tools like Claude Cowork.
  • Identify processes across marketing ops that can be handed off to AI agents, and own the implementation end-to-end.
  • Stay current on the agentic AI landscape and bring forward tools and techniques that give the team leverage.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Own marketing dashboards and reporting across HubSpot and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Ensure accurate tracking, event setup, attribution, and UTM structure.
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities across the marketing funnel and propose data-backed solutions.
  • Translate data into clear recommendations to improve ROI and customer lifetime value.
  • Test and measure experiments that improve conversion and retention.

Growth & Paid Media Support

  • Support campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Ensure proper tracking, pixel implementation, and CRM integration.
  • Manage performance reporting and analysis

Project & Process Management

  • Organize marketing initiatives, timelines, and task tracking.
  • Build documentation and SOPs for marketing systems and reporting.
  • Improve cross-functional workflows to create clarity and accountability.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Must Have

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing operations, growth marketing, or CRM management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot (workflows, lists, reporting, automation).
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Cowork or comparable AI desktop/automation tools — you've used agentic AI in a real work context, not just experimented with it.
  • Experience designing or building agentic systems — multi-step AI workflows that operate autonomously to complete marketing or operational tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), attribution, and conversion tracking.
  • Experience with Meta and Google Ads platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating across teams.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with Shopify (integrations, ecommerce tracking, reporting).
  • HubSpot certifications.
  • Startup experience.
  • Vacation rental or ecommerce industry experience.
  • Experience with tools like Slack, Notion, and modern project management platforms.
  • Built or contributed to internal AI tooling or prompt libraries for marketing use cases.
  • Based in Los Angeles.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Compensation: $65,000 - 90,000 OTE (annual salary performance bonus incentives)

Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling requirements, including on-call coverage and availability for emergency response, weekends, and holidays.

Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
