We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.

HI New York City is looking for volunteers to lead and support Monday night welcome parties for guests at our bustling NYC hostel; which hosts travelers from across the globe. The HI USA Welcome Party allows guests to meet and interact with each other, at the hostel. These welcome parties also serve as an opportunity for guests to learn some information about New York history, the culture of our local communities/neighborhoods, and of the greater United States.
