Independent Cleaning Contractor – Vacation Rental / Airbnb Cleaning
We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented independent cleaning contractors to clean and prepare vacation rental properties between guest stays.
This is a great fit for experienced residential, Airbnb, or vacation rental cleaners looking to add consistent cleaning jobs to their existing schedule. Work is offered based on guest checkout schedules, with some turnovers taking place between approximately 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM while others can be done early morning or evening as well.
Responsibilities
- Clean and reset vacation rental homes between guest stays
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas to a high standard
- Change and prepare beds with fresh linens
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels when required
- Restock guest supplies and amenities
- Check the property for damage, missing items, or maintenance issues
- Follow detailed property-specific cleaning checklists
- Take required completion photos
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks through our scheduling/task app
- Make sure the home is fully guest-ready by the required completion time
What We're Looking For
- Prior professional cleaning experience strongly preferred
- Vacation rental/Airbnb cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to meet strict turnover deadlines
- Comfortable using a smartphone app for schedules, checklists, and photos
- Have your own car to get between jobs
- Good communication and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Flexible availability, including weekends as needed
Schedule
This is independent contractor work, not a traditional set weekly schedule. Cleaning opportunities are offered based on vacation rental bookings and may vary from week to week.
Many properties have a limited turnover window between guest checkout and the next guest's arrival, so reliability and punctuality are extremely important.
Compensation
Pay is per completed property/turnover and varies based on the size and requirements of the home. We pay each job on the same day they are completed.
Additional cleaning opportunities may become available for contractors who consistently provide high-quality, reliable work.
