Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, managing daily operations to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance across all hotel systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures.
- Oversee the management of mechanical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting using schematics, electrical testing tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters, and mechanical diagnostics to resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or renovations by coordinating resources, timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA safety regulations and hotel policies to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests alike.
Skills
- Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance with strong team leadership capabilities.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system, electrical systems troubleshooting, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using schematics, engineering troubleshooting tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Skilled in project management with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment..
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills in English; ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
