- 2 Full time:Monday through Friday- 2:30pm- 11pm- $18.00 an hour
- 2 Part Time: Saturday and Sunday 7am- 330pm- $18.00 an hour
Job Summary:
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and comfortable environments at this property. This role supports the overall effectiveness and professionalism by ensuring that all spaces meet high cleanliness and presentation standards. This is a paper mill, so there will be constant dusting by the person hired to this job, and there is a lot of walking as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, and restocking supplies in designated areas and cleaning lockers.
- Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, meeting rooms, and lodging areas used by audit staff and event participants
- Refresh linens, towels, and other reusable items as needed to maintain a hygienic environment
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly and ensure waste bins are emptied and cleaned regularly
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors to ensure a safe and functional environment
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with team members, vendors, and facility personnel
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying tasks
- Physical ability to lift, move, and clean in a variety of indoor environments
- Able to walk 20k steps a shift and able to use stairs often
- Flexibility to travel, work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning product usage
