Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas by performing sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
- Perform detailed floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on thoroughness and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction, polishing hard floors, and general industrial cleaning methods.
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred; familiarity with guest service standards is a plus.
