Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic part time Housekeeper to join our team, committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential settings. As a vital member of our housekeeping staff, you will ensure that every space is spotless, organized, and welcoming for clients. Your role will involve performing a variety of cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency, contributing to a positive and hygienic environment. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure hygienic environments.
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supplies used; ensure proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury during heavy lifting or outdoor work.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns.
• Conduct outdoor work as needed, including patio or yard cleanup, ensuring the exterior of the property remains tidy and well-maintained.
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents and equipment; ability to operate cleaning tools safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and outdoor work activities.
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.
• Prior experience in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.

Pay: $9.29 - $10.09 per hour
