The Role
As a Medical Scribe, you’ll be the physician’s right hand—responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters, medical histories, orders, and test results. Your attention to detail ensures our patients receive seamless, high-quality care.
📋 Responsibilities

Transcribe patient medical reports and data accurately and thoroughly

Document medical history, physician orders, and lab/test results

Accompany physicians during patient visits to capture real-time information

Maintain Hospitality Health ER’s guiding principles of care

Assist physicians by carrying out orders efficiently and accurately

Demonstrate initiative and self-direction in supporting providers

Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director
✅ Requirements & Qualifications

Education: 2 years of college in a healthcare-related field (preferred)

Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology

Training: Successful completion of clinical orientation and proven skills

Growth: Commitment to ongoing education and training

Experience: Customer service experience in high-volume, high-stress environments

Schedule: PRN (as needed) – minimum of two (2) 12-hour shifts per month, including rotating nights and weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

Skills: Ability to work unsupervised, take initiative, and collaborate effectively
