HOSPITALITY AND OUTREACH FOR LATIN AMERICANS (HOLA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the rapidly growing Latino community in Evansville since its inception in 2002. HOLA serves as a bridge between the Latino community and local organizations, offering programs such as health education, clinics, educational initiatives like La Academia, and the HOLA Summer Camp. The organization also established the HOLA Latino Festival and the Latino Professional Development Series in collaboration with local universities, fostering leadership and advocacy skills among Latino professionals. Through these initiatives, HOLA continues to empower and uplift the Latino community in meaningful and impactful ways.

Role Description

As an Assistant Program Coordinator, you will support the development and execution of HOLA programs and initiatives, including events, workshops, and community engagement efforts. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with program planning and logistics, coordinating communications with participants and community partners, and maintaining program documentation and records. This is a part-time hybrid role, based in Evansville, IN, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Program Management and Program Development, with the ability to assist in planning and executing impactful community initiatives.
• Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service to engage effectively with participants, community partners, and team members.
• Experience in Program Management, demonstrating excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the Latino community and a passion for serving diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office tools is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings, as required for events and programs.
