Pay Range:
$ $48.87
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I performs imaging procedures and patient care within diagnostic x-ray and one (1) or more advanced imaging modalities. The advanced imaging modalities include CT, MRI, or interventional radiology (IR). The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I will function independently and must meet all the minimum qualifications and requirements for the modalities in which they practice.
Education Qualifications
- Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
- Bachelor's degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or related field is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
- 2 years of experience working in an advanced modality is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Certification in an advanced modality through ARRT is required. Certification in two (2) of the advanced modalities is preferred. (Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
- License Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
