As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, You Will
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized respiratory care plans to support optimal cardiopulmonary function.
- Deliver respiratory treatments and interventions based on patient needs, established protocols, and professional standards.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to help them understand respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
- Document assessments, treatments, care plans, and patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
- Serve as a resource to Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRTs) and respiratory therapy students.
