Job Overview
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Med/Surg Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the DAY shift, PRN! Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Support medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control procedures such as aseptic technique and proper disposal of sharps and waste.
- Document patient interactions and care activities precisely within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, behavioral health support, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS
- CNA Certification in the state of Georgia
Skills
- Proven experience working in medical-surgical units or acute care settings; ICU or Level I Trauma Center experience is highly valued.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and vital signs monitoring techniques.
- Experience with patient service tasks including catheter care, phlebotomy procedures, and basic life support certification.
- Ability to perform caregiving duties across diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice patients, and those requiring memory or dementia care.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
- Competence in using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and working within infection control protocols like aseptic technique.
