Job Description:
We are a trusted provider of medical billing services and are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Private/HMO Insurance billing procedures, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.
This is a full-time on location position Monday-Friday 9am -5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and Private/HMO insurance policies.
- Act as a liaison between clients, the company, and insurance providers to resolve billing issues.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email, and mail regarding billing and payments.
- Follow up on claims to ensure timely resolution of any issues.
- Keep clients informed of the status of their billing and payments.
- Stay up to date with current Medicare billing guidelines and insurance regulations.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Private/HMO insurance billing procedures.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with computers, billing software, and technology.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.
