Hospice Residence- Overnights LPN -3 - 12 hr shifts 6:45 pm-7:15 am

Seeking an LPN to work in our Siegenthaler Center hospice 4-bed residence located in New Hartford, NY. This is your opportunity as a professional to provide one-on-one care to your patients in a beautiful home like setting. Staffing ratio is one professional to a maximum of four patients. Employees provide quality, one-on-one, compassionate care to our patients. Three shifts Monday-Friday with every other weekend 6:45pm to 7:15 am. New enhanced hourly rates plus night and weekend differentials and pay for performance rates.

An experienced LPN, who has excellent nursing skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature will make you a good candidate for this position. We expect you to be confident and compassionate in caring for the terminally ill, performing tasks such as administering medication and providing emotional support. Four is the maximum number of patients you will care for at any time, so you have the ability to provide optimum care.

The goal is to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort using your nursing skills. If you want a more manageable caseload where you can spend time with your patients this is the job you will want to apply for!

Must have experience working in a skilled nursing facility or acute care setting.
